The Scottish Parliament is currently reviewing its Shop facility. The following information outlines the products available to buy from the Parliament’s gift shop which is located within the Main Hall of the Parliament building at Holyrood.

The Scottish Parliament gift shop sells an extensive range of unique and traditional gifts including glass, crystal, china, and toys. Choose from a selection of Scottish food and confectionery including handmade tablet and fudge, delicious Dundee or Malt Whisky cake, traditional oatcakes and shortbread. We also have a superb selection of wines and whisky including our 15 year old Member’s Pure Speyside Malt.

We sell a range of books specialising particularly in Politics and Scottish interest and also a popular collection of books for children by Scottish authors.

There are several books related to the Scottish Parliament and Holyrood and we also have a collection of architectural postcards featuring aspects of the Parliament building.

Our opening times are:

Business Days (normally Tuesday-Thursday)

All year 09.00 to 17.30

Non-business days (normally Mondays and Fridays and every weekday when Parliament is in recess)

  • April to September 10.00 to 17.30
  • October to March 10.00 to 16.00
Saturdays and public holidays

All year 11.00 to 17.30

Closed Sundays

 

Last admission 30 minutes before closing in all instances.

Please note that we are a working Parliament. All visit arrangements are subject to the demands of Parliamentary business, and to security arrangements which may change at short notice.
