Welcome to the Scottish Parliament website.

The Scottish Parliament is here to represent all of Scotland's people. This section of our website describes the information we have produced in British Sign Language (BSL).

Please contact us if you want help getting involved in the work of the Parliament.

Our video How the Scottish Parliament Works British Sign Language tells you about the membership, business and procedures of the Scottish Parliament.

Visiting the Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh

You are welcome to visit the Parliament building in Edinburgh to have a look around or find out about how the Parliament works. Our video Your Guide to the Scottish Parliament contains a short tour of the building and tells you about the facilities available.

We want to ensure that everyone is able to visit the Scottish Parliament building. Our premises are already designed to be as accessible as possible. However, if you are disabled and have any specific requirements, you are very welcome to contact us in advance of your visit.

If you require a BSL interpreter or another form of communication support service (for example, a speech-to-text reporter or a lipspeaker), we can provide this service for you (subject to availability). You should let us know what you need as soon as possible, ideally at least two weeks before your visit.
