The Committee reports to the Parliament as follows—

1. At its meeting on 30 January 2008 the Local Government and Communities Committee considered the following affirmative instrument—

the Housing (Scotland) Act 2006 (Prescribed Documents) Regulations 2008 (SSI 2007/draft).

2. Stewart Maxwell, Minister for Communities and Sport, moved—

S3M-1117: That the Local Government and Communities Committee recommends that the draft Housing (Scotland) Act 2006 (Prescribed Documents) Regulations be approved.

3. After debate, the motion was agreed to by division: For 7, Against 1, Abstentions 0.

4. At its meeting on 30 January 2008 the Local Government and Communities Committee also considered the following negative instrument—

the Housing (Scotland) Act 2006 (Penalty Charge) Regulations 2007 (SSI2007/575).

5. The Committee had nothing to report on this instrument.
