The meeting opened at 10.00 am.
1. Declaration of interests: Alison McInnes did not have any relevant interests to declare.
2. Decision on taking business in private: The Committee agreed to take item 4 in private.
3. Child poverty in Scotland inquiry: The Committee took evidence from—
Rhona Cunningham, Manager, Fife Gingerbread;
Shona Honeyman, Development Officer, Working for Families Glasgow;
Laurie Russell, Chief Executive, The Wise Group.
4. Disabled Persons' Parking Places (Scotland) Bill - witness expenses (in private): The Committee considered and agreed to pay a witness expenses claim.
5. Budget process 2009-10 (Stage 2) (in private): The Committee considered a draft report to the Finance Committee on the Scottish Government's Draft Budget 2009-10 and agreed certain changes. The Committee agreed to consider further changes by correspondence.
The meeting closed at 1.02 pm.
