Inquiries:

Details of current inquiries can be found by clicking the appropriate links:

• Mental Health Services: The Committee has undertaken a number of visits to mental health services around Scotland and agreed at its meeting on 12 November to consider an approach paper at a future meeting.
• Pathways into sport: Phase 1 of the inquiry has been completed. A call for written evidence has been issued for phase 2 of the inquiry to run until the 21 November.

The Committee has also undertaken a number of short inquiries and one-off evidence sessions. Information on these can usually be found on the Completed Business page. The following such investigations are ongoing:

• Mental Health Services for Deaf and Deafblind People: Oral evidence taken on 4th June 2008 and 11th June 2008. The Committee agreed to maintain a watching brief on the issue. On 28 October 2008 the Scottish Government wrote to the Committee with an update on the Scottish Goverment's evaluation of the case for specialist inpatient services (PDF 849KB).
