PRESIDING OFFICER TO MEET POLISH PRESIDENT ON UK VISIT

The President of Poland will meet with the Presiding Officer of the Scottish Parliament at Holyrood this afternoon as part of a two-day visit to the UK.
His Excellency Lech Kaczyński, President of the Republic of Poland and members of his delegation will pay a courtesy call to Presiding Officer George Reid MSP at Queensbury House.
The President, accompanied by Her Excellency the First Lady, Maria Kaczyńska and three other senior Polish ministers, has been visiting the UK as a guest of the British government.
Presiding Officer George Reid said:
“We look forward to welcoming the Polish President and giving him the opportunity to see first hand our model of 21st century governance and commitment to sharing power with the people of Scotland .”
