Publication of MSPs' allowances 2004/2005

The Scottish Parliament today publishes MSP allowances expenditure for 2004/2005 in a new format, as part of its committed programme to fuller disclosure of MSP allowances expenditure.

As was the case for 2003-04, the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body has determined that information relating to Members' allowances and expenses for 2004-05 should form a separate publication bringing together, in one table, costs incurred by Members of the Parliament in carrying out their parliamentary duties.

For the first time the SPCB has also made available detailed information on the allowances reimbursed to each MSP.
