CORPORATE BODY ANNUAL REPORT PUBLISHED TODAY

Details relating to the work of the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body (SPCB) are contained in its fourth Annual Report published today.
The publication - covering the period from 1 June 2002 through to the end of May 2003 - reports specifically on the SPCB's role in providing the Parliament with the property, staff and services it needs to fulfil its democratic function.

In keeping with its founding principles of openness, transparency and accountability, Parliament is required under the terms of the Scotland Act to publish financial information on the incurred costs reclaimed by MSPs under the Allowances Scheme along with other costs borne by the SPCB on behalf of Members.
As in previous years, today's report contains details of the Parliament's expenditure for the most recent financial year - 1 April 2002 to 31 March 2003.
