Pupils from Tanzania and Scotland with George Reid and Susan Deacon

Young people from Tanzania joined teachers and pupils from Edinburgh's Holy Rood High School on a visit to the Parliament this week, where they met Presiding Officer George Reid.

The event was organised as part of a wider network of relationships supported by the Twende Pamoja Trust, which translates as "let us walk together".

During their visit the students were given a tour of the building by local MSP Susan Deacon.

The Twende Pamoja Trust works to promote the sharing of culture through the fostering of contact between individuals, groups and communities in Tanzania and Scotland.
