Annie Lennox to Headline Festival of Politics 2008
Annie Lennox Annie Lennox is to headline this year’s Festival of Politics at the Scottish Parliament. Ms Lennox will take centre stage on Wednesday 20 August in Holyrood’s debating chamber to talk about her involvement in the fight against HIV/AIDS in Africa and her SING project.

Now in its fourth year, the award winning Festival of Politics runs from 20-23 August and will feature many famous faces from the world of politics, the arts and the media. Speakers include Denis Healey and Douglas Hurd discussing their political careers, comedian and political activist Mark Thomas and Guardian journalist Polly Toynbee.
