16 – 19 October 2006: visit to Taiwan for the purpose of observing and studying the economy, its public services and its relationships with neighbours. Member received air travel and accommodation as a guest of the government of the Republic of China, cost £1,717.00.

On 10 and 11 September 2007 I visited Brussels. This networking and familiarisation visit was hosted by the European Commission. The estimated cost of the flights, meals and accommodation was £456 which was met by the European Commission.[Registered 25 September 2007]
