Remuneration:
 

I have been and remain a self employed musician: performer, teacher, arranger and composer. In the year prior to election I earned between £10,001 - £15,000 from musical activities. During May and June 2007 I transferred most of my pupils to other teachers and I anticipate that from September 2007 my professional musical activities will be about 2-3 hours per week with anticipated earnings being between £501 - £1000 per annum. I was an elected member of Dundee City Council. In the year to May 2007 I earned between £10,001 - £15,000 per annum. From 3 May 2007 I did not accept either salary or benefit from the pension entitlement. I resigned as a Councillor on 24 August 2007. [Registered 6 June 2007, Amended interest 26 September 2007]

I am a director of Masterclass Music Ltd. To date I have never received any remuneration. Masterclass Music Ltd has been dissolved and removed from the register of companies. Sales rights to arrangements previously published by Masterclass Music Ltd have been transferred to Spartan Press Music Publishers Ltd. I am a member of the Performing Right Society (Copyright House, 29-33 Berners Street, London, W1T 3AB) which collects royalties on music I have written or arranged. I anticipate my earnings as being up to £500 per annum for work I have already undertaken.
