Remuneration:

I am employed by the Scotsman (of 108 Holyrood Road, Edinburgh, EH8 8AS) to write a column on a weekly basis. This work is undertaken at weekends and I receive remuneration of between £10,001 and £15,000 per annum. As of November 2007 I stopped writing this column and therefore no longer receive any remuneration. [Registered 23 July 2007, Amended interest 4 December 2007].

I received a fee of £200 for a one-off article written for the Scotsman (a newspaper company of 108 Holyrood Road, Edinburgh, EH8 8AS) about a recent trip to Zambia. This remuneration falls within the bandwidth of up to £500 per annum. I will be donating the fee to Oxfam to use for work in Zambia. [Registered 20 June 2008]
