Revisions to the Standing Orders

When changes are made to the Rules, replacement pages are issued for the hard copy version. Each set of replacement pages is referred to as a Revision, and the Revisions are numbered in the order in which they are issued (1st Revision, 2nd Revision, etc.).

The following table lists recent Revisions to the 3rd Edition and the respective dates on which those Rule changes took effect.

Each Revision includes the complete text of every Chapter that has been amended.  Additional Chapters may sometimes be included to correct minor errors in the text or layout (i.e. where there is no actual Rule-change).  Many Rule-changes also require changes to be made to the Contents and/or Index, and Revisions therefore usually include replacement versions of these.  Every Revision also includes new versions of the Tables at the end of the document.

It is important that your Standing Orders binder is fully updated with all the replacement pages in each Revision.  If your binder is out if date by more than one Revision, you will need to print out all the Revisions you have missed and update your document in the order in which those Revisions were issued (i.e. recent last).  A maximum of three Revisions is included below, since if your binder is more out-of-date than this, it is simpler and quicker to print out the entire 3rd Edition (in PDF).

You will need to print each Revision double-sided on plain white A4 paper and then hole-punch it to match the 4-hole binding.

Each Revision can be printed out by clicking on the hyperlink in the left hand column of the table and then using the standard Print command.
