9 September 2008 : The Committee heard oral evidence from Stewart Stevenson MSP, Minister for Transport, Infrastructure and Climate Change and Stephen Garland, Scottish Government and agreed to close the consideration of the petition on the grounds that the recent review by the Scottish Government of Home Loss Payments (HLP) had concluded that no changes should be made to the current situation for the foreseeable future.
