10 June 2008 :   The Committee agreed to close consideration of the petition on the grounds that the Scottish Government is currently consulting, through its national conversation, on this matter and that a referendum is planned for 2010 and, further, that the Calman Commission is also currently reviewing the provisions of the Scotland Act 1998 to improve the financial accountability of the Parliament.
