Petition by Myles Fitzpatrick calling on the Scottish Parliament to urge the Scottish Government to consider whether it is satisfied with the policy and guidance issued by it under which NHS Boards may destroy a patients’ medical records and whether this policy in any way hinders the right of an individual whose records have been destroyed to then access medical treatment on the NHS.
