4 December 2007 :   The Committee agreed to seek responses to the issues raised in the petition from the Scottish Government, Young Scot, Scottish Licensed Trade Association, COSLA, NHS Health Scotland and the Association of Chief Police Officers in Scotland. 19 February 2008 :   The Committee agreed to write to the Scottish Government seeking a further response on how, given the apparent broad support for utilising and enhancing the existing Young Scot National Entitlement Card, it will maximise this support and take consideration of this matter forward through discussions with all relevant parties and the provision of funding. 10 June 2008 :   The Committee agreed to write to the Scottish Government seeking an update in the light of the meeting of the newly formed sub group looking at this matter and what actions emerge from the sub group that will address the issues raised in the petition.
