23 October 2007 :   The Committee agreed to seek a response to the petition from the Scottish Government. Link to Official Report 23 October 2007 

7 October 2008 :   The Committee agreed to close the petition on the grounds that no valid burdens will disappear as a consequence of the extensive statutory reforms to title conditions, feudal tenure and land reform over recent years. Further, this programme of reforms was designed to make it easier to identify and enforce burdens. Link to Official Report 7 October 2008
