31 January 2007 :   The Public Petitions Committee heard from Councillor Melling and agreed to seek views on the petition from the RAC Foundation for Motoring, Transport Scotland, Aberdeenshire Council, the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents and the Scottish Executive and to seek the views of the petitioner on the responses received. 23 October 2007 :   The committee agreed to seek a further response to the petition from Transport Scotland including an update on the A90 strategic study and, in particular, what conclusions and action in terms of safety improvements and investment will be made to the junction as a result and where this project sits within its investment programme. 19 February 2008 :   The Committee agreed to seek a further response from Transport Scotland, once the A90 junction strategy study has been finalised, on what action will then be taken to provide the junction improvements requested by the petitioner. Link to Official Report 19 February 2008
