18 March 2008 : The Committee agreed to write to the Scottish Government inviting it to establish a working group of interested parties, including the petitioner, to take forward consideration of whether a scheme, as proposed in the petition, might be feasible, how it might be funded and controlled and to then report back to the Committee.
