15 November 2006 : The Public Petitions Committee agreed to seek views on this petition from the Deputy Minister for Enterprise and Lifelong Learning in relation to the Bankruptcy and Diligence etc. (Scotland) Bill and to seek the views of the petitioner on the response received. 2 October 2007 : The Public Petitions Committee agreed to seek a further response to this petition from the Scottish Government on its timetable for bringing relevant provisions of the Bankruptcy and Diligence etc. (Scotland) Act 2007 into force and on whether it considers any guidance in this area is necessary. The Committee also agreed to seek a response on this matter and on those cases where DSS monies have been refunded by individual trustees from the Accountant in Bankruptcy.
