Procedures Committee

2. Period of time for answers to be lodged to parliamentary questions lodged in the last week of recess: The Committee will consider an issues paper.

3. Consultative Steering Group: The Committee will consider an issues paper.

Justice 1 Committee

Audit Committee

The Committee will meet at 2.00 pm in the Hub, Castlehill, Edinburgh

1. Item in private: The Committee will decide whether to take agenda item 7 in private.

2. Declaration of Interests: The new member of the Committee will be invited to make a declaration of any interests.

3. Proposed Changes to Standing Orders: The Committee will consider a paper from the Clerk on a proposed change to the remit of the Committee as set out in Standing Orders.

4. Report on Public Accounts: The Committee will consider a response from the Scottish Executive to its report entitled 'Report on Public Accounts' (SP Paper 615).

5. Meeting with Public Accounts/Audit Committees on the United Kingdom Parliament and the Devolved Institutions: The Committee will consider a letter from the Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee of the Northern Ireland Assembly, Mr Billy Bell MLA.

6. How Government Works in Scotland: The Committee will receive a briefing from the Auditor General for Scotland on his report entitled 'How Government Works in Scotland' (AGS/2002/6).

7. How Government Works in Scotland: The Committee will consider the next steps in its consideration of the report by the Auditor General for Scotland entitled 'How Government Works in Scotland' (AGS/2002/6).
